The reality that 14% of European staff members are engaged recommends that many European managers struggle to do either. Firms that buck this trend sight engagement as a strategic concern. They acknowledge that the manager-employee connection is one of the most crucial vehicle driver of engagement and natural growth, and they come close to the task of boosting interaction with the same roughness, self-control, and dedication that they come close to various other organization problems.

The bright side is that most of Europeans are disengaged yet not annoyed. They are remaining on the sidelines, waiting to be influenced. They are winnable, and firms can fix this gap by much better equipping their supervisors with the knowing and advancement they need to be better people supervisors.
